Join us as we take you on a heartfelt journey to the Walukuba Health Center in Jinja, Uganda, where hope, compassion, and healing came together during our recent two-day medical camp. With the incredible support of the students from Brooklyn Amity School and Youth Island NY, along with our dedicated team of 40 staff members, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians, and volunteers, we were able to provide essential medical care to over 1,050 people in need.
This camp offered free health screenings, lab tests, and medicine to diagnose and treat a range of health conditions, including skin infections, respiratory and urinary tract infections, malaria, HIV, and hepatitis B. For many, this was a rare opportunity to receive the medical attention they desperately needed, and the smiles on their faces showed just how much it meant.
But the real heroes of this story are the compassionate and tireless students from Brooklyn Amity School and Youth Island NY, who spent months fundraising to make this camp a reality. Their dedication, kindness, and spirit of giving made a profound impact on countless lives in Uganda. This video is a tribute to their hard work, their compassion, and their belief in a better world for all.
We are so grateful for everyone who contributed to this meaningful cause. Because of you, lives have been touched, hope has been restored, and a community has felt the love and support from across the globe. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey with us.
